Ie Restaurant

Vincent Chi-Wai Chiang

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Ie Restaurant by Vincent Chi-Wai Chiang IE Sushi and Teppanyaki is a fine dining Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong. The interior combines Art Deco forms with Japanese details to create a new Oriental style. Sapele wood is used throughout, and each room has a different geometric pattern and decorative wood moulding to mark its zone. The sushi bar is pentagonal, with a diamond cut bulkhead whose reflected light eases the effect of the low ceiling. A metallic dragonfly lightbox conceals the ventilation system and serves as decoration. The balcony offers a quiet place for relaxation after the meal.
