Interior Space and Exhibition Design Beans Restaurant and Cafe by Vincent Chi-Wai Chiang Beans is a cafe and restaurant in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong, serving coffee, desserts and light meals. The interior covers 2263 square feet and has no windows, so the design takes the form of a crystal cave. Reflective surfaces and warm lighting brighten the space and reduce the feeling of enclosure. A waving stainless steel surface forms a lake near the entrance ceiling, and narrow rocks are made by three-dimensional printing. A tree stands at the centre and grows toward the light. The dessert bar is placed near the entrance to ease ordering.
