Al Azra Home Residential

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Al Azra Home Residential by Ardh Architects Al Azra Home is a single storey residential building in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The house was designed as a quiet retreat for a retired lady, on the plot where her family home once stood. Two bedrooms, an office, an open plan living and dining area, a semi open kitchen with a breakfast island and a maid's room are arranged around an inner courtyard. Stone cladding with a ventilation gap and triple glazing reduce heat, dust and noise. Porcelain floors are set on one level for easy movement. Native trees and plants provide privacy and a sense of calm.
