Yappy Bookstore Multi-booksote Space

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Yappy Bookstore Multi-booksote Space by Yu Chien Chiang Yappy Bookstore is a multifunctional bookstore interior in Taipei, Taiwan, covering 450 square meters. The space is used for reading, film screenings, lectures and music performances. The large beams and columns of the old building are treated as camera frames that guide views across the rooms. Vintage books, bricks, iron, old window frames and concrete are combined, so old and new surfaces meet without a clear boundary. A red book wall leads visitors through the interior. Small openings in the walls bring daylight inside, and a high stage blurs the border between performers and audience.
