Urban Planning and Urban Design Riverside Pearl Waterfront Park by Yun Du Waterfront Pearl is a waterfront park located along the Jialing River in Nanchong, China. The park covers about 1,200,000 square meters and includes both landscape design and architecture design. The existing water and dam topography of the site is used to form a shoal shape to the west of Bashan Mountain. The terrain is reshaped and planted to strengthen the natural setting. The layout refers to the local Yuji culture and to the story of Da Yu controlling the floods. The result is a public space for leisure, cultural display and festival events.
