Link To The World Residence

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Link To The World Residence by I-Te Yeh Link To The World is a residential interior design for a 35 square meter apartment in New Taipei City. Instead of a traditional television wall, a world map is placed at the entrance as the main feature. The map was made by laser cutting a metal board, and the size of each opening reflects the activity and density of people in that location. Light glimmers through the openings, recalling the night view of the earth. Acrylic marks note places the resident has visited. Sliding partitions allow the space to suit one person or a larger group.
