K11 Musea Shopping Mall

Interior Space and Exhibition Design K11 Musea Shopping Mall by K11 Musea K11 Musea is a shopping mall interior located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront in Hong Kong. The ten-storey retail and art complex covers a total floor area of 1.1 million square feet. At its centre is a 35 metre high atrium named Opera Theatre, where 1,800 programmable spotlights are set into the ceiling to suggest a galaxy of stars. A sculpture above the escalator recalls the buttress roots of local banyan trees. Surfaces are clad in handcrafted bronze and rustic paintwork. Rainwater is harvested for irrigation, and a seawater cooled, oil free air conditioning system reduces energy use.
