Fine Arts and Art Installation Design KT 5G Sculpture Symbolizing by TIST KT 5G is a group of outdoor sculptures installed in central Seoul, South Korea. The sculptures express the main features of a 5G communication service, which are high speed, low latency and wide connectivity. Bright colors, patterns and arrow shapes represent connectivity, speed and data flow, while drones and autonomous driving refer to familiar uses of the technology. The sculptures are made of steel plates that were bent and welded, then finished with urethane paint. Smaller sculptures also serve as benches, so the installation forms an artistic resting place along a busy walking route.
