Shandong Dongping Landscape Residence

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Shandong Dongping Landscape Residence by Yun Lu Shandong Dongping is a residential community in Dongping, Shandong Province, China. The plan is inspired by the movement of fish swarms. Surrounding landscape and buildings converge in a central landscape, forming a continuous shared space. All residential blocks face south to receive maximum sunlight. Large glass curtain walls on the south facade provide light and open views. Horizontal aluminium louvres on the north corridor facade form a partly opening surface. Staggered floor slabs create local diamond patterns. The design opens the ground level and sky gardens to shared use.
