Packaging Design Xiaohutuxian Xinyouran Wine Boxes by Pang xinyu Xiaohutuxian Xinyouran is a packaging design for liquor bottles. The box is shaped like a bamboo slip, the writing surface used in ancient China before paper. The box opens in the same way as a bamboo slip book, so opening the package recalls opening a book of wisdom. Inside, a pair of Chinese ink paintings shows a range of mountains, a traditional symbol of wisdom. The mountains are drawn with two-dimensional codes, joining Chinese culture with modern technology. The package is made of cardboard and measures 150 by 120 by 300 millimeters.
