Furong Hui Residential

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Furong Hui Residential by Yung-Hsi Peng, Zhi-Yun Hung, Parn Shyr Furong Hui is the interior design of the shared public spaces of a residential building in Taipei City, Taiwan. The hibiscus flower is the central theme, drawn from an ancient poem by Su Shi. Curved line plates and continuous arch columns recall layered petals, and projection lamps set at the base light these forms at night. The public areas include a reception hall, a lounge bar, a warm water pool, a spa and rooms for sport and leisure. Warm colors and varied materials balance the overall tone. The aim is to give residents rest and calm within an art exhibition atmosphere.
