Nan Hsing Interior Design

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Nan Hsing Interior Design by TSAI, YUAN-CHANG Nan Hsing is a school library created inside an old elementary school classroom in Taiwan. The space covers about 1494 square feet. Beams and columns are treated in two colors and combined with indirect lighting to reduce their heavy appearance. A raised bar reading area is built along the windows, allowing views of the greenery outside. Materials include wear-resistant floor tiles, laminate sheets, plastic aluminum panels, black mirror and a custom aluminum frame. Black, white, gray and wood tones create a calm place for children to read.
