Grand Children Palace Learning Center

Roy Yin

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Grand Children Palace Learning Center by Roy Yin Grand Children Palace is an early learning center in Guangzhou, China. The center occupies 680 square meters inside a former factory building. A cross-shaped open space in the middle hosts events, classes and free play. Doors and walls are reduced, so the activity rooms and the central space remain connected and visually open. Small holes are placed throughout the interior to encourage children to explore. Materials include eco emulsion paint, wood veneer, oak flooring and ceramic tiles. Many details are designed for the safety and comfort of children.
