Pingjiang Wonder Bookstore

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Pingjiang Wonder Bookstore by Aico Ltd Pingjiang Wonder Bookstore is a bookstore in Suzhou, China, with a gross built area of 1800 square meters. The building is shaped as a delicately cut crystal and is divided horizontally into two parts. The upper part is faceted, and the sliced facades are tilted by a vertical angle of 4 to 6 degrees towards the sky. The transparent lower part is set at the human scale for better integration into the surrounding streets. High reflective glass panels of 5 by 1.8 meters form the external framed curtain wall.
