Huixian Lou Restaurant

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Huixian Lou Restaurant by Ao Han Huixian Lou is a restaurant located on Beijing Financial Street. The project covers 860 square meters. The exterior is wrapped in a pale gray metal grid that forms several hazy layers between the street and the dining areas. These layers create a calm transition and leave the noise of the city outside. The interior recalls the elegance of Song dynasty style through a modern expression of traditional culture. One hall is six meters high and shows a video artwork on the wall. A stage surrounded by semi-translucent gauze hosts harp performances each evening.
