Architecture, Building and Structure Design The Hub Mixed-use Building by Adel Badrawy The Hub is a mixed-use building located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The design brings together restaurants, small retail shops, a large recreational area for young people and office spaces, each with its own entrance and vertical circulation. All functions are gathered under one large canopy, which shades the spaces below and recalls the traditional souq. Corridors, bridges, roof gardens and landscaped areas link the different volumes. The total built-up area is 20,000 square meters, including 8,400 square meters of outdoor and landscaped space.
