Architecture, Building and Structure Design Cang Ma Mountain Residence by Public Architectural Design Institute Cang Ma Mountain is a residential complex built in Qingdao, China. The project provides resettlement housing for more than 1,300 households from four nearby villages. The site covers about 130,000 square meters and holds residential buildings of four to eight storeys and commercial buildings of two to three storeys. The sloping terrain is divided into separate platforms that follow the original form of the hills. Red tiles, fences, stone mills, tea fields and an ancient well recall rural life and local culture.
