Mays Vegetarian Restaurant

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Mays Vegetarian Restaurant by Ling Chen Mays is a vegetarian restaurant interior covering 152 square meters. The design departs from the religious styling often used in traditional vegetarian spaces. Gray black terrazzo with blue crystal and pearl particles covers the facade, the floor, the counter and the tabletops. The terrazzo was custom made for the project. Copper chains on the ceiling suggest rolling hills. A curved metal reception wall forms a tunnel that guides guests toward the dining area. Metal edges set into the floor define the different areas. Large glass windows bring daylight inside.
