Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Yin Cheng Center Office Guide by Miao Jin Tang Yincheng Inc Center Office is a wayfinding signage system created for an office building in Nanjing, China. The design extracts the straight lines of the high-rise facade and repeats them as black vertical stripes that match the grid pattern of the interior walls. The signs are made of stainless steel with baking paint and milled grooves, and measure 1500 by 50 by 20 millimeters. Flat lettering is applied in black and white, while cut-out lettering uses imitation antique copper. Elements and sizes are reduced to emphasize function.
