Vacuum suction holds Hobot388 on the glass, while two cleaning wheels move the body freely and imitate the motion of a human hand. An ultrasonic nozzle sprays a fine mist of about 15 micrometers, similar to the effect of human breath on glass, to improve the cleaning result. The robot climbs to the top of the window frame and then cleans in rotating and zigzag patterns. An uninterrupted power system, an anti-falling control algorithm and an extension power cord support safe use on large and outdoor windows.
