Interior Space and Exhibition Design A Serene Hideaway Residence by Chia Hsin Chi, Yunz Interior Design A Serene Hideaway is a residential interior located in Taipei City. The home of 72.7 square meters combines a Japanese Zen style with a restrained industrial style. The ceiling is the main feature and is made of cypress wood arranged as a three-dimensional Japanese window frame. Leftover cypress panels are cut and applied to the cabinet surfaces of the Japanese room, so material waste is avoided. The floor is gray Pandomo with few division lines. Black iron plates add sharp lines. A mezzanine reached by a ladder provides extra storage.
