Elysium Decorative Figurine

Jewelry Design Elysium Decorative Figurine by Roman Zelenin Elysium is a decorative figurine that shows a hummingbird drinking nectar from a flower. The figurine is made of silver and set with 1848 lab-grown gemstones. Elysium consists of 31 unique parts and measures 116 mm by 116 mm by 165 mm. A computerised workflow, three-dimensional printing and a patented direct casting method were used to form a hollow shell with a metal thickness of 0.35 mm. The bird meets the stem at a single point, so the centre of mass was calculated with care. The stem shows zones of destruction with a black finish, recalling the fragile balance of nature.
