Shogun Castle Remodeling Apartment House

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Shogun Castle Remodeling Apartment House by Yoshiaki Sugi Shogun Castle is a renovated apartment interior in Fukuoka, Japan. The total floor area is 97.80 square meters. A Japanese style room of 10 square meters was kept next to the living room and treated as a special room. Four painters who work on the reproduction of national treasure picture scrolls created original drawings for the walls and ceiling. Each drawing and wall surface was signed and sealed by the artists. Traditional materials such as hemp paper, natural mineral pigments, gold leaf and tatami were used. The rest of the living space was kept plain to create contrast.
