Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Omi Modular Sweeping Robot by Wang Yili Omi is a modular sweeping robot designed for outdoor cleaning work. The robot is built on a movable body that carries six interchangeable modules: disinfection, vacuuming, sweeping, stagnant water treatment, guardrail cleaning and water jet washing. Modules are fitted by hand using side armrests or by magnetic mounts, and indicator lights guide correct installation. During work, Omi follows the sanitation worker automatically within a set area. The design aims to reduce heavy manual labour and to improve working conditions in sunny and rainy weather.
