Furniture Design The HQ Multifunctional Table by Nora J S Voon The HQ is a multifunctional table designed for small homes. The HQ serves as a dining table and as a shared office desk with a removable divider panel. The panel is coated with magnetic paint, so notes can be held on its surface. The table is made from Ecoboard, a material produced from natural wheat straw left over after harvests. Panels are cut with a CNC machine and joined by interlocking tongue and groove connections, so no screws are needed. A storage space holds small office supplies, and a cut-out keeps cables tidy. The table ships as a flat pack.
