Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Apex Photography by Yicheng Feng Apex is a fine art landscape photography series that examines the organic forms and textures of a mountain peak. The images were captured at the summit of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yunnan Province, China, at an altitude of 4280 meters. The rock formations create a contrast between ordered complexity and simplicity, offering a different perspective on natural beauty. The photographs were taken handheld with one digital camera and a single prime lens, then processed and retouched digitally. Apex is intended as a serene and meditative medium for viewers.
