Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Velosione Electric Bicycle by Do:it Solutions Velosione is an electric bicycle designed for mass production. The frame is made of thermoplastic composites and uses a closed tube geometry. The lightweight hollow pipe structure offers higher stiffness and elasticity than aluminium. Modular moulds allow different frame sizes at low additional cost through variable injection moulding tools. The frame integrates LED lights, sensors, a capacitive touch interface and a fully concealed battery. The material is recyclable, and the production process reduces cost, production time and carbon emissions.
