The interior brings together a tearoom, a work area and a display setting for a private collection of tea ware, calligraphy and painting. Bricks, wood, marble and paintings form the main material palette. The layout gives the daily ritual of tea a calm and ordered frame. The design reflects the belief that beautiful objects refresh the mind and that collecting is an act of caring for things rather than a pursuit of wealth. The space is intended for rest, work and sharing with friends.
