Furniture Design Mode Modular Workstation by Gustavo Alves Miranda Mode is a modular workstation designed for home offices. Mode has three modules: a table, a seat and a kneeling module. In compact form, the furniture works as a side table beside a bed or sofa. The seat is pulled out from under the table, while the kneeling module unlocks with a button and becomes a rocking seat. The tabletop can be removed and used elsewhere. The structure is made of rectangular carbon steel tubes, and the seat base, kneeling module and tabletop are made of molded plywood. The design follows Brazilian ergonomic standards and encourages healthier posture habits at home.
