Architecture, Building and Structure Design Mountain House in Mist book villa by Lin Chen Mountain House in Mist is a countryside book house located in an ancient village in Wuyi. The building joins traditional culture with modern design through a new application of traditional materials, a transformed roof and translucent polycarbonate boards on the facades. During the day, the boards create a soft translucent atmosphere inside. At night, light passes outward and the book house becomes a visual center of the village. The book house offers a calm place to read and aims to bring young people and children back to the mountains.
