Twenty households are arranged within a construction scale of 5,200 square meters. Gardens, streets and courtyards are linked to form a public space system inspired by classic Chinese gardens. Most residential units cover about 666 square meters, while corner units are larger. Natural materials are used widely, and classical details such as corridors, columns and arches are made of solid wood. Carved dry-hanging stone clads the entrance and the second-floor walls.
