Lay Assemblable Chair

Furniture Design Lay Assemblable Chair by Pelin Erkuvun Lay is an assemblable chair designed for flat-pack transport and simple assembly. The seat and the backrest are made of molded FSC certified oak plywood with a thickness of 8 mm. The legs and the connecting structure are made of solid oak shaped with CNC processes. The seat fits on an L shaped backrest, and the parts are joined in one direction with metal screws and wooden dowels. Assembly and disassembly are possible with basic tools. Single parts can be replaced, which supports maintenance and a longer service life.
