Selfportrait Office

YUNG-EN LIN

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Selfportrait Office by YUNG-EN LIN Self Portrait is an office interior located in a 30-year-old mixed-use residential and commercial building in Taichung City, Taiwan. The layout follows the concept of one room, one space, one object, so all spatial elements are connected. The kitchen is treated as a solid cube placed in the middle of the plan. A continuous curved cabinet forms a wall for storing books, leather tools and materials. Gray and white surfaces dominate, with wooden plywood at the kitchen. Part of the ceiling is pushed upward to soften the light and reduce the feeling of pressure.
