Architecture, Building and Structure Design House a Half Mini House by doT & associates House a Half is a small wooden house designed for a quiet life away from the city. The cabin has a floor plan of 45 square meters, with a living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom on the main level and a bedroom in the loft, giving 60 square meters in total. The house is assembled from prefabricated wood parts and hardware by following assembly instructions. The timber comes from thinned forests in Kochi, Japan. Camphor wood chips surround the house to repel insects. A smokeless fireplace burns alcohol, so no exhaust pipe is needed.
