Architecture, Building and Structure Design Simple but Elegant Leisure Complex Center by Chunli Zhang Simple but Elegant is a leisure complex center in Weihai City, Shandong Province, China. The design covers 4522 square meters of buildings and 39478 square meters of landscape. Courtyard spaces are formed by plain white walls, following the traditional Chinese garden pattern of vestibule and backyard. The buildings are linked by corridors, and mirror steel plates on the corridor tops reflect the surrounding scenery. A coffee shop, a book bar, an exhibition hall, offices and meeting rooms are included. A lakeside park offers rest to the staff of the industrial park.
