Hospitality, Recreation, Travel and Tourism Design The Bamboo Forest Simple Lodging by Naoyuki Aoki The Bamboo Forest is a glamping accommodation facility located next to a zoo in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. The site covers a gross floor area of 2000 square meters and holds six accommodation buildings made of steel tents, cotton tents and wooden structures. Each building has an interior named after and inspired by an animal from the neighboring zoos. Guests can eat breakfast beside giraffes and feed capybaras and lemurs. The quiet bamboo grove setting is intended to offer rest and learning for visitors from nearby cities.
