One More Time Short Film

Movie, Video and Animation Design One More Time Short Film by Khoo Siew May & Jay Septimo One More Time is a short animated film created as a letter of encouragement for the Superhero Me community during the 2020 quarantine period in Singapore. The narration was recorded by community members in their own homes, sharing experiences of isolation and a shared view of resilience. A hand drawn look was chosen to give the film a personal and warm character. Light colors were used to express a feeling of hope. Digital animation tools were combined with hand drawn frames to keep the traditional appearance while working efficiently.
