QingJing Tea

Packaging Design QingJing Tea by Xue Jiang QingJing is a packaging design for Chinese rock tea. The name is taken from a Chinese classical text and refers to stillness and meditation. The surface graphics are based on ink painting, and the image can be read either as a butterfly or as a Buddha, depending on the viewing angle. Six groups of images create different visual effects from different perspectives. The tea is held in a ceramic pot, because ceramic does not react with tea and does not absorb its fragrance. The streamlined body and the fitted lid allow easy opening and closing.
