Interior Space and Exhibition Design Kang Yuan Hotel by Liang Fang Kang Yuan is the lobby interior of a hotel in Tianmen, China. The space covers 2800 square meters and has a height of 3.5 meters. Wood, glass, metal and stone are the main materials. A screen wall replaces the usual reception desk, following traditional architectural form and creating visual depth through the borrowed landscape method of oriental gardens. A three-stage corner staircase links the two floors and offers changing views, so moving through the lobby resembles a garden walk. Warm light and a calm atmosphere support the transition from outdoors to indoors.
