The device converts speech into text and supports transcription in eight languages and twelve Chinese dialects. Transcription can also be performed offline, so recordings do not need to be sent over a network, which addresses privacy concerns. Text can be extracted from slides and images with an eight-megapixel camera on the back. A touch screen is combined with keys for recording, volume and power to keep operation simple.
