Diagonal Table

Furniture Design Diagonal Table by Paradox Studio Diagonal is a desk designed around a single geometric idea, the diagonal line that joins two opposite corners. The tabletop is made of plywood with walnut veneer, and the veneer pattern follows the same diagonal guide. The two stands are made of steel with a powder coated finish, and both stands are placed along the same line. The main structural skeleton is hidden inside the tabletop and carries the load through three short columns to the stands. A bevelled edge and a gap between top and stands make the surface appear to float.
