Twist House Private Residence

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Twist House Private Residence by TZOKAS architects Twist House is a private residence located in an olive grove in the southwest Peloponnese, with a direct view towards the castle of Methoni. The three level house follows the evolution of human dwelling. The excavated ground forms the basement, stone shapes the ground floor volumes, and a lighter plaster volume rests above them. Floor to ceiling openings and floor tiles that extend outwards join the interior and exterior spaces. The total area is 485 square meters. Materials taken from the site were reused to limit the impact on nature and to preserve the existing trees.
