Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Falcon False Ceiling Inspection Robot by ROAR Lab Falcon is a compact mobile robot designed for the inspection of false ceilings. False ceilings are often dark, damp and hard to reach, which makes manual inspection difficult. Falcon measures 200 by 160 by 75 millimeters and weighs 800 grams, so it can move through narrow spaces. Cameras at the front, left, right and top, together with built-in lighting and height sensors, provide real time images and data. The robot is guided through a wireless application and can return to its upright position after toppling. The aim is to monitor false ceilings and control rodent activity.
