Furniture Design Vortex Fireplace by Dário Sousa Vortex is a suspended fireplace designed for public and private spaces. The asymmetrical form of Vortex refers to the deformation of space and gives the fireplace a strong presence. Vortex offers two combustion options: traditional wood or an automatic bioethanol burner. The bioethanol version provides a real flame without smoke, ash or odours. Vortex is made of carbon steel, shaped by laser cutting and welding, and finished with heat resistant powder coating. The heat output ranges from 5.9 to 10.6 kilowatts.
