Baltija Confectionery Packaging

Motiejus Gaigalas

Packaging Design Baltija Confectionery Packaging by Motiejus Gaigalas Baltija is a packaging series for a chocolate collection sold in the Baltic region. The name comes from the Lithuanian word for the Baltic Sea, which inspired the design. A lighthouse and a sea scene are illustrated in a classic Victorian style, with wavy forms that suggest the movement of water. No national symbols are used, so the packaging represents the whole region rather than one country. A deep greenish blue tone adds a refined look. The boxes and envelopes are made of paper, printed by offset, and finished with matte varnish and copper foil details.
