Inflorescence Commercial Space

Chih-Chiang Chang

Interior Space and Exhibition Design Inflorescence Commercial Space by Chih-Chiang Chang Inflorescence is a restaurant interior located in Taichung City, Taiwan. The design creates a calm setting inspired by a distressed garden. A bamboo path leads guests from the entrance to a wooden aisle, where distant mountains and a garden landscape can be seen. Recycled wood, bamboo, large stones and vintage furniture form the main materials. Wooden parts are joined with a traditional mortise and tenon method, so very few iron nails are needed. Walls are finished with a rough surface texture. Guests are first welcomed in a tearoom and then guided to the dining areas.
