Interior Space and Exhibition Design Elegant Palace of Stones Residence by Yu-Ting Chang Elegant Palace of Stones is the interior design of a villa in Shalu District, Taichung, Taiwan. The space covers 330 square meters. Natural black marble with vivid texture forms the base of the main floor and suggests flowing water. Marble partitions, wooden materials and leather furniture create a calm and elegant atmosphere. The ceiling uses curved geometric forms that hold indirect lighting. A tea tasting area with long curved tables and chairs occupies one corner, where large windows bring in daylight and views of the greenery outside.
