Interior Space and Exhibition Design Momochan Japanese Restaurant by Yew Tze Yong Momochan is a Japanese restaurant located in a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. The interior combines concrete and wood in a minimal setting. Wide glass panels at the front and the back allow natural light to fill the space during the day. The shopfront holds an open counter with an ice cream bar and an open kitchen, framed by wood stripes and green marble in earthy and neutral tones. A house shaped ceiling with wood stripes connects the open dining area and a pet friendly area, which are divided by glass panels. Bench seating and striped walls complete the setting.
