Jewelry Design Planetary Ring Meteorite Jewelry by 李妍 Planetary Ring is a ring made from meteorite material. The design is inspired by Muonionalusta, an iron meteorite found in Sweden. A miniature bearing, one millimeter in diameter, is set in the center of the meteorite disc, so the disc rotates as the wearer moves, in the manner of a planet. The surface keeps the natural pattern of the iron meteorite, formed by machining and acid etching. The meteorite is left without anti-oxidation plating, so the texture changes over time. The support structure is made of 925 silver and is joined without welding.
