Interior Space and Exhibition Design Qingdao Steel Fortress Conceptual Showroom by Robin, Wang Qingdao Steel Fortress is a conceptual showroom created within a former industrial district in Qingdao, China. The renovation retains the original character of the buildings, including pre-existing red brick and rusty steel plate. Anodised aluminium, a newer construction material, is combined with these older elements to link the past and present of the city. The first floor holds a temporary exhibition hall, while the second floor forms the main exhibition area. Open staircases in the public area support public activities. Catering and cultural facilities are also included.
